Austin Dentist Dr. Carrie Etheredge - Family and Cosmetic Dentistry


Carrie Etheredge, DMD "I love practicing dentistry.  I truly enjoy getting to know my patients, making them happy and giving them a reason to smile.” 

Dr. Carrie Etheredge grew up in Ann Arbor, Michigan and graduated from Indiana University with a Bachelor of Science in Biology and Psychology.  After spending two summers working and exploring Alaska, she attended Tufts University School of Dental Medicine in Boston, Massachusetts.  Dr. Etheredge received her Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree in 2004.  During dental school, she was awarded a Health Professions Scholarship from the US Army.  After graduation she continued her dental education at the Advanced Education in General Dentistry (AEGD) program at Fort Sill, Oklahoma from 2004 to 2005.  She then worked as an Army dentist in Savannah, Georgia until 2007. 

Dr. Etheredge and her husband Will moved to Austin in 2008 to be closer to Will’s family in West Texas.  They have two wonderful children, Lucy and Jett.  The Etheredges enjoy all the outdoor activities that Austin and the Hill Country have to offer, and love spending time with friends and family.

Dr. Etheredge joined Parmer Lane Family Dentistry in 2010 and is a member of the American Dental Association, Texas Dental Association and Capital Area Dental Society. She also belongs to the Academy of General Dentistry, a professional organization dedicated to continuing education.
